Aero Adds Three Flights to Accra

Lagos -Effective June 20, Aero Contractors will added three more flights into Accra, the Ghanaian capital -a development that is expected to widen the choice open to its customers. This will therefore bring the total number of flights into Accra to 10 per week.

The flights are Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 1900 hours and departures out of Accra on the same days will be 1930 hours.

The airline said in a statement that the Friday and Sunday flights are particularly aimed at giving customers a chance to travel for a weekend in Accra and return to Lagos either on Sunday evening or by 0930 hours on Monday morbning well rested and ready for work.

Aero stated that with its morning and evening flights throughout the week, a flexible schedule for the discerning business or leisure traveler.

Commenting on the additional flights to accra, the airline's boss, Koen Neven said "we hope our customer will take advantage of this new schedule and enjoy our unique services. Accra is a very important market to us, and we are keen to continue expanding on that market, knowing that there is increasing trade and commercial links between the two countries".

Aero, the nation's premier carrier is to date the only designated flag carrier between Lagos and Accra. the airline was last year designated by the Federal Government to four destinations, including Accra, malabo, Lome and Sao Tome & Principe.

It operates a two cabin configuration in its B737-300, Business and Premium Economy on a competitive fare and one cabin on its Dash-8-300 services.

To enhance service delivery for its customers, the airline has broken new grounds with the opening of a new sales oiffice at the Murtala muhammed International Airport to provide electronic ticketing, reservations and rebooking daily.
