CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Yofi Grant has commended the Government of Ghana for achieving its medium-term goal of making Ghana the best place for businesses to thrive.
Speaking to some selected Chief Executive Officers at a breakfast meeting on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, the GIPC boss said the President had two very strong visions that he wanted to be actualized.
He said the President’s first vision was to see Ghana, in the medium-term, as the best place to do business in Africa and to reposition Ghana as a business hub for West Africa.
He explained that the President Akufo-Addo's visions will open up the business sector to create more businesses which will eventually transcend into creating more jobs.
“We are opening up the business sector hoping that we can create more businesses because more businesses create more jobs,” he said.
He added that when more jobs are created, it will strengthen the economy and bring wealth to Ghanaians.
