All Africa Trade Fair 2013 ends

Hopeline Institute, an empowerment oriented non- governmental organization, in collaboration with its stakeholders, on Saturday held the closing ceremony of the ‘All Africa Trade Fair 2013,” at the Madina Social Welfare Center, theme ‘Building Stronger and Deeper Inter- Regional Trade Partnership”.

Mrs. Fanny Esi Atta- Peters, Executive Director of Hopeline said, the stands used by the exhibitors were all filled beyond expectation.

She expressed the need for business firms to organize fairs to help grow small –medium enterprises, rather than focusing on conferences.

She revealed that exhibitors from other African countries have decided to work with their Ghanaian counterparts, as a way of deepening business partnership.

Mrs. Atta- Peters advised exhibitors who were not part of this year’s fair, to grab the opportunities in developing their businesses, the following year.

Alhaji Amadu Sorogho, Member of Parliament (MP) for Madina/ Abokobi, assured Hopeline Institute of sponsoring 100 beneficiaries to the institute, for training: “I am fully going to be part of the organization next year.”

Madam Elizabeth Lamunu, General Secretary of St. Stella Foundation, Uganda, and one of the exhibitors, said working experience in Ghana has been amazing. “I really appreciate the Ghanaian hospitality, and most importantly the love”, she said.

She, therefore, expressed her gratitude to the organizers, for giving them the platform to showcase what they had.
