The 16th Banking Awards for the 2016 year in review which saw 33 banks compete for seventeen (17) slots was held at the Labadi Beach Hotel on Saturday 15th July, 2017.
The highly competitive programme was graced by the governor of the Central Bank, (Bank of Ghana) Dr. Ernest Kwamina Yedu Addison as well as many heads of the various nominated award winning banks.

At the end of the awards ceremony however, Ecobank for the umpteenth time walked away with the Bank of the year award.’
