Armed Forces granted licence to operate Savings and Loans

The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has issued a permit license for the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to operate Savings and Loans Company called Services Integrity Savings and Loans.

In order to make the Services Integrity Savings and Loans (SIS&L) operationalise, account will be opened for all Military and Ministry of Defence (MOD) Civilian Employees of the Ghana Armed Forces.

In a letter from the General Headquarters signed by Brigadier Adokpa to all units, Salaries of all personnel shall pass through the SIS&L.

However, the letter further reiterated that individuals can still maintain their accounts with other existing banks.
