Nkoranza North District Assembly realized about GH¢ 81,930 from its target of GH¢90,160 by the end of the second quarter, representing 91 per cent.
Mr Kwadwo Agyei-Dwomor, the Nkoranza North District Chief Executive, who said this at the assembly’s meeting at Busunya, commended the revenue collectors for their hard work and efforts in improving revenue mobilization for the assembly.
He urged the assembly members to support the revenue collectors and encourage them in the discharge of their duties.
On development projects, Mr Agyei-Dwomor said potable water and electricity would be extended to newly developed areas of Busunya construct more classroom blocks for Busunya Senior High School and Yefriman Senior High School to increase intake.
He commended the government for tarring the Asekye Krukese-Busunya road plans were underway to tar the Nkoranza-Jema-Nkwanta trunk road which links the main Techiman-Kintampo-Tamale highway.
Mr Felix Osei-Asiedu, Presiding Member of the assembly, urged them members to ensure they organized forums for their constituents to educate them on decisions and programmes of the Assembly.
