Banks will soon chase customers to give them loans with low interest - Wontumi

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako is optimistic that the sound economic policies being put in place by the current government will reach a state where local banks will now be pursuing customers to give them loans.

“Very soon banks will be announcing everywhere trying to get clients to come for loans. I am telling you that exactly a year today note it down, you will hear people shouting for people come for loans come loans just like market women have been doing”, the NPP executive affectionately called Chairman Wontumi revealed on Okay FM.

He therefore appealed to the youth to be patient with the government as measures are being put in place by the Economic Management Team led by the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to open up job avenues for the youth in various sectors.

Chairman Wontumi said the country witnessed retrogression under the erstwhile regime but said the current dispensation has all it takes to clear the mess created by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government whose administration was characterized by create, loot and share.
