Barclays donates three million cedis towards farmers day

Barclays Bank Ghana Limited on Wednesday presented a cheque for three million cedis towards this years national farmers day celebrations.

A statement issued in Accra said Mr Stephen Opon, Senior Manager of the Bank made the presentation on behalf of the bank .


He said it was the bank's widows mite towards the welfare of the country' hardworking farmers and fishermen.

Major (Rtd) Courage Quashigah, Minister for Food and Agriculture thanked the bank for the gesture and promised to ensure that the money was used for the purpose for which it was given.
