Accra, Oct. 6, GNA - Bearish sentiments continued to hang over the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) on Wednesday with major investors remaining on the fence.
The GSE All-Share Index, the main market gauge, appreciated by 10.68 points on a day that saw only two price changes - one up and one down.
The GSE All-Share Index ended trading at 7,009.62 points from 6,998.94 on Monday.
The total number of shares that changed handed closed at 136,700 from Monday's 10,300 shares.
Change year to date now stands at 97.26 per cent and market capitalisation closed higher at 97,228.28 billion cedis from 3,425.70 million issued shares.
Fan Milk Limited gained 1,400 cedis at 16,000 cedis while Enterprise Insurance Company was down by five cedis at 8,000 cedis.
