Accra, April 4, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) was down again in trading on Monday following a 400-cedi loss by British American Tobacco (BAT), the only equity that moved.
BAT lost 400 cedis at 4,100 cedis in trading that saw CFAO selling about 1.368 million out of the 1.452 million shares that changed hands. The GSE All-Share Index, the main stock index, ended down by 10.13 points at 6,380.25 points from 6,390.38 points. Change for the year went deeper into the red at -6.15 per cent.
Market capitalisation was down at 96,473.98 billion cedis from 96,501.63 billion cedis from 3,663.51 million issued shares.
