Bourse in weak performance as investors sit on fence

Accra, Jan. 19, GNA - The Accra bourse barely inched up in trading on Thursday as investors continued to sit on the fence. Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) and Aluworks Limited were the only gainers with one cedi each at 6,858 cedis and 5,501 cedis, respectively.

The GSE All-Share Index went up by 0.02 points at 4,733.20 points. Change in the year-to-date remained the same at -0.75 per cent. Shares traded were down at 36,800, down from 126,000 on Wednesday. Market capitalisation was slightly better at 91,762.47 billion cedis from 91,762.40 billion cedis.
