Busyinternet wins IPS of the year for the third time

BusyInternet has been adjudged the nation's best Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the year 2011 at the 23rd Annual Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG) held in Accra.

This is the third consecutive time the company has won the ISP of the year and a fourth top honours in that category.

Mr. Praveen Sadalage, Managing Director of the Company, told journalists in Accra that the award demonstrated the company’s commitment to providing the best broadband and data storage services that met the needs of corporate bodies, Small Medium Enterprises as well as individuals.

He said the first recognition was given by the Ministry of Communications in the year 2008/2009 - selecting BusyInternet as the best ISP Company followed by the two honours in that category by the CIMG in 2009 and 2010 .

Mr. Sadalage said: "Over the last eleven years, BusyInternet has not only led the internet revolution in Ghana, but is constantly employing innovative ways to bring quality and affordable services to its customers."

"We believe that our performance at the awards is a clear demonstration of BusyInternet's strong commitment to promoting marketing excellence in Ghana."

He acknowledged that the company could not have won the award without the support and hard work of its loyal customers and the entire BusyInternet family.
