CAL Bank rise continues to sustain bourse

Accra, March 22, GNA - The steady rise of CAL Bank sustained the Accra bourse on Wednesday as the equity's recovery continued. CAL Bank gained six cedis in trading to close at 1,866 cedis while Enterprise Insurance Company inched up by one cedi at 6,867 cedis. The GSE All-Share Index, the main market index, closed trading up by 0.35 points at 4,760.03 points from 4,759.67 points on Tuesday. Volume of shares traded was a mere 25,900 from Tuesday's 256,900 while market capitalisation was better at 91,924.59 billion cedis from 91,923.63 billion cedis. Change in the year to date rose to -0.19 per cent.
