CEO of Allied Limited is 'Best Volta Region Business Icon' of 2018

Chief Executive officer of the Allied Oil Company Limited, Dan Kofi Okudzeto has been adjudged the 'Best Volta Region Business Icon' of 2018 at the Ghana Business Quality Awards.

Dan Kofi Okudzeto is the founder and Executive Chairman of Allied Oil Company Limited, Oil Channel Limited, Danicom Limited and Options Mart Limited.

He also has over 35 years executive level management and a wealth of entrepreneurial experience.

Dan Kofi Okudzeto, a native of Adidome in the Volta region was awarded for his contribution to Ghana’s industrialisation and positive impact on society through job creation.

The Ghana Business Quality Awards is an annual event that rewards excellence among the most committed and dedicated entrepreneurs and corporate executives in Ghana.

The Award focuses on recognizing outstanding entrepreneurs and corporate executives who have positively impacted the economic growth of Ghana.

According to the Association of Oil Marketing Companies of Ghana (AOMC) the founder of Allied Oil Limited is the first Ghanaian to secure an OMC license, thereby opening doors for over 100 other local OMCs to participate in an industry that contributes over GHC8oo million annually to the nation's coffers.

CEO of Special Investment Limited, Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong, won the Ashanti Region Business Icon and CEO of Consolidated Shipping Agencies LTD, Dr. MacDonald Vasnani was named the Greater Accra Region Business Icon 2018.

Other winners at the second edition of the Ghana Business Quality Awards include Fidelity Bank, Reroy Group and Coconut Grove Hotel, Groupe Nduom.
