The Chief Executive Officer of Reroy Cables Limited, manufacturers of electrical cables and accessories, Mrs. Kate Quartey-Papafio has sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected executives of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) urging them to continue the good work done by the previous administration.
“The team led by Mr. Tony Oteng-Gyasi did well in setting a higher performing standard by consistently spearheading the Association’s concerns but much is definitely expected from the newly elected leadership under the presidency of Nana Owusu-Afari” noted Mrs. Kate Quartey-Papafio.
In a press statement, she noted that the newly elected president of the association Nana Owusu-Afari was a Vice President in the previous administration hence continuity in terms of policies and initiatives will be keenly monitored by members. She challenged the newly elected executives to ensure the realisation of AGI’s policies awaiting government’s approval especially the Small Medium Sector Charter.
“The new team must take into cognizance the fact that there is still more to be done for the indigenous manufacturing companies in meeting the ultimate goal of AGI which is, promoting made in Ghana goods”, stated Mrs. Kate Quartey-Papafio.
