Camon 11 and 11 pro unveiled in Ghana

Global premier mobile phone brand TECNO Mobile has unveiled two new smartphones CAMON 11 and CAMON 11 Pro just as the year draws to an end. The devices promises to offer users bright and clear selfies with high quality. These novelties are the latest to join the popular CAMON series, which already includes the CAMON X and CAMON CM models, and will delight fans of the self-portrait genre.

Giving a brief Introduction and History of the brand, Country Manager for Tecno mobile Justin Chen spoke on how far the brand has come offline and especially online with over 10 million followers across social media.

This was followed by Mr Glover from Mobile Zone who further talked about the partnership between Mobile Zone and Tecno Mobile Ghana which had been in existence for a couple of years now .

The product information of the Camon 11 was presented by Mr. Ernest Sonkor, the Area Sales Manager. He took the audience through the device specifications and latest additions.

“The CAMON 11 and 11 pro utilizes improved AI technology for selfie photography in addition to many more AI-powered operational features.

Together with the super Notch Screen and upgraded multi-tasking software, CAMON 11 and CAMON 11 PRO offer consumers a better user experience”. He added.

He concluded with this “TECNO CAMON 11 devices are created for young people who follow the latest technological trends. Artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms built into the smartphones are capable of doing a lot of things that previously seemed to be impossible and take the next CAMON representatives to a new level of mobile gadgets.”

In an interview with a cross section of the media, Mr Justin Chen had this to say about the new device “The revolutionary AI technology embedded in CAMON 11 PRO and CAMON 11’s camera will elevate the smartphone selfie entirely.

Selfie-lovers will enjoy the high-end 24 or 16-megapixel front camera, which has advanced with intelligent features based on artificial intelligence. AI-technology smartly allows to create high-quality self-portraits with natural skin color and optimize the image, achieving brighter colors and sharp contours.”

The Camon 11 comes with a 16mp front camera, 13+2mp dual rear camera, 3gb ram and 32gb memory space whilst the Camon 11pro comes with a 24mp front camera, dual back camera, 6gb ram and 64 gb memory space. It comes in in three stylish colors - Bordeaux Red, Aqua Blue and Midnight Black.

The event took place on Saturday 17th November 2018 at the Swiss Alisa Hotel and was graced by some renowned influencers and fans of Tecno Mobile. The Camon 11 and 11 pro which goes for 698 and 1066 cedis respectively can be purchased in any Electronic Hub Shop at the Malls and in Accredited Tecno shops nationwide starting from the 24th of November 2018.
