Accra, March 28, GNA - The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is to relocate the check-in counter at the domestic terminal to the new international departure hall at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) on Tuesday March 30, 2004. A statement signed by Mr Eric Noi, Public Affairs Manager, said the relocation had become necessary in view of the impending rainy season and the increasing number of passengers at the domestic check-in terminal. The statement said the relocation would not affect the on-going project involving the installation of modern electronic equipment including a new passenger check-in system. It said signposts had been erected at vantage points to guide and direct passengers to the new departure hall.
