Chief Farmer appeals for more spraying machines

Mr Samuel Addo, 2013 Chief Farmer for the Suhum Municipality, has appealed to Cocobod for more cocoa spraying machines for the area.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, the chief farmer who has over 10 acres of cocoa farm in the area, said the spraying machines are not enough for the cocoa farms in the area.

He explained that four spraying machines were brought to the area, but one of them has broken down, and the three are not enough for all the farmers in the area.

Mr Addo said as a result, some of the cocoa farms had not been sprayed, and they have been infested and destroyed by insects.
