Comet IPO extended by two weeks

Accra, Feb. 1, GNA - The share offer of Comet Properties has been extended by two weeks from January 31 to February 15, following approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission.

A statement from the Lead Manager and sponsoring brokers of the Initia= l Public Offer (IPO), Worldwide Securities Limited, said the extension had been necessitated by the intervening holidays and the need to accommodate the interest of key institutional investors, who required extra time to complete the approval processes for their investments.

In addition, the extension would afford monthly wage earners and workers an opportunity to participate in the offer.
