The 2015 edition of the Ghana Construction came off last Saturday at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

Attracting the creme de la creme of the construction industry, it was a night to remember as the movers and shakers of the industry were honoured.

The Awards night also brought together some of the top guns in other industries to celebrate the achievements of the construction sector and its contribution to Ghana’s infrastructural development. This year’s edition was under the theme “Celebrating Excellence for National Development’.

With the construction sector contributing about 12% to Ghana’s GDP, organisers believe, organisers believe the awards will be a major motivation for construction companies to excel and break new boundaries.

The awards will also serve as an incentive to other companies in the industry to improve on service delivery, professionalism, health and safety among others.

Speaking at the event, Akin Naphtal, CEO of InstinctWave, organisers of the Ghana Construction Awards said, “We warmly congratulate all those honoured today. We are very proud to be the pioneer of celebrating a vital industry like construction.”

“It is an incredible achievement to be announced as an award winner today, as the high calibre of nominees is a true reflection of the dynamic, professionalism and excellence, attributes that will drive this industry in the following years,” he added.
