Accra, April 2, GNA - Ms. Sherry Ayittey, Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, on Thursday asked corporate bodies to make the Ghana Business Code (GHBC) part of their business operations. "The purpose of the regulations ensured in the GHBC was to help improve business practices in Ghana. This is in line with the ten principles of the United Nation Global Compact (UNGC) with respect to human right, labour standards, and environmental protection", she said. Ms Ayittey was addressing about 150 entrepreneurs drawn from Ghana and Denmark at a conference dubbed "Promoting a Green and Health Ghana", in Accra. She said the GHBC was developed by Association of Ghana Industry (AGI), Ghana Employers Association (GEA) and Ghana National Chamber of Commences, the three main business associations in the country, adding that about 130 enterprises had signed on to the GHBC.
