Cyber Security Authority has licensed some 94 cybersecurity entities
Margins ID Group has officially received accreditation from the Cyber Security Authority (CSA) to provide cybersecurity services in Ghana.
The group, which comprises four subsidiaries, met all necessary requirements to become a recognized cybersecurity establishment.

Chief Executive Officer and Founder Mr Moses Kwasi Baiden Jr. commented on this milestone, stating that with the increasing digitization of workflows, and advancements in Artificial Intelligence and quantum computing, cybersecurity is now a critical need for every organization.
He emphasized that Margins ID Group remains ahead of the curve, investing heavily in people, processes, systems, and standards to meet global requirements.
"This ensures that not only can we deliver cutting-edge identification and digital solutions, but we can also protect our customers' systems and data," Baiden added.
Chief Information Security Officer Yakubu Abdulai noted that securing the CSA accreditation underscores Margins ID Group's dedication to both innovation and client security, cementing the company’s leadership in the cybersecurity field.
Intelligent Card Production Systems Limited (ICPS), a subsidiary of Margins ID Group, is a highly certified card manufacturing facility, holding ISO 9001-2015 certification and producing over 200 million cards annually.
ICPS serves industries ranging from banking to telecommunications and hospitality, offering secure plastic cards, tokens, documents, and labels, among other products.
Identity Management Systems (IMS) operates as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) in a Public-Private Partnership with Ghana's National Identification Authority.
IMS is integral to the design and operation of the National Identification System (NIS), which provides a unified digital identity for e-government and e-commerce services in Ghana.
Pronto-POD, another subsidiary, leads the print and print-finishing services industry, offering event organizers and businesses printed materials such as posters, banners, and tickets.
It also provides ID card services, leveraging the group’s expertise to deliver consistent and visually compelling products.
Margins ID Systems Applications Limited (MIDSA) is a specialist in secure identity, digitization, and access solutions.
MIDSA offers turnkey digital platforms for secure identification, helping businesses digitize ecosystems and manage secure access to resources and data facilities.
Margins ID Group’s accreditation comes as part of Ghana’s broader effort to align with global cybersecurity standards.
During a ceremony in Accra, the CSA licensed 94 cybersecurity entities, including 18 Cybersecurity Service Providers (CSPs), seven Cybersecurity Establishments (CEs), and 69 Cybersecurity Professionals (CPs).
This second wave of licenses brings the total number of accredited entities in Ghana’s cybersecurity sector to 145.
Dr. Albert Antwi-Boasiako, the Director-General of the CSA, emphasized the responsibilities that come with accreditation.
He stressed the importance of confidentiality and data protection, warning that entities operating without proper licensing would face penalties, including criminal prosecution.
Ms Adelaide Benneh-Prempeh, a CSA board member, urged the newly licensed entities to operate with professionalism and integrity, setting a high standard for future industry players.
This licensing initiative positions Ghana as the first African country, and the second in the world after Singapore, to implement a comprehensive regulatory framework for cybersecurity service providers.
Several recipients expressed their gratitude to the CSA and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism in securing Ghana’s digital infrastructure.
