DHL nominates Apambire for Int. award

DHL Ghana has nominated Mr Wilson Apambire as its Ghanaian representative for the DHL Middle East, North-Africa-Sub Sahara Africa (MENA-SSA) Employee of the Year 2012 Awards to be held in Livingstone, Zambia.

Every year DHL presents the Employee of the Year Award to honour staff in the DHL global chain that have made a stellar contribution to their department or the company’s growth, and for excellent customer service.

In a statement signed by Mr Kader Coulibaly, DHL Ghana General Manager, said Mr Apambire was chosen as Star Employee of DHL Ghana for 2012 because he was dedicated, passionate, a team player and had ‘I can-do attitude’.

“Apambire is customer-centric; he endeavors to assist every customer no matter what time or day. He far exceeds expectations in his normal duties; his dedication to work cannot be singled out to one occasion but rather to his exceptional style of work. He is also a great team player,” Mr Coulibaly said.

Mr Wilson Apambire commended authorities of DHL for appreciating his little contribution to move the company forward. “Anyone looking forward to becoming a future EOY should arrive early at work, neat, be ready to learn and be faithful to the customers and staff”, Mr Apambire advised.
