The Home Loans Manager of Stanbic Bank, Anna Owusu-Sekyere, has charged potential home investors not to buy one house and ‘sleep’ but should instead have other alternatives of investing in more homes.

Anna Owusu-Sekyere recommended that investors should be able to release equity from the first property they acquire and use that in purchasing a second property.

“Whatever decision you are taking today, have the future in mind. That is the best way to make out of your real estate,” she stressed.

Madam Owusu-Sekyere noted that “there is no point in buying one house and going to sleep. So if you take a mortgage, have a plan and make sure that your lender also agrees with the plan that you have so that they can guide you.”

“The houses end up working for the rich people because anytime they sleep, the house is earning money. The investment tends to grow,” she emphasized.

Stressing on the need to diversify housing investments, the Home Loans Manager told potential investors at the ‘meQasa Property Expo 2018’ that, “with real estate, investors always win even though the returns is usually minimal.”

The Property Expo offers attendees superb networking opportunities and the chance to learn from knowledgeable speakers on insightful and instructive seminars relating to property investments, mortgages, land litigation and home security.

The housing fair which will be an annual event, is the perfect housing fair for people actively and passively looking to buy a new house or land; seeking to rent an apartment or office space; investors seeking stellar real estate projects to back; individuals and families looking for deals on home improvement; property professionals and enthusiasts.
