ECOBANK gain pushes stock index up

Accra, Sept. 3, GNA - A good gain by ECOBANK Ghana Limited pushed the main stock index up in moderate trading on Monday. The GSE All Share Index gained 9.18 points at 5,566.56 points from 5,557.38 points.

Change for the year ended at 11.20 per cent from 11.01 per cent on Friday.

Market capitalisation ended higher at GH cedis 11,713.27 from GH 11,707.71 million on Friday.

There were two price changes, both positive.

ECOBANK gained 0.0344 GH cedis at 1.5500 GH cedis and Guinness Ghana Breweries Ghana Limited inched up by 0.0001 GH cedis at 0.9671 GH cedis.
