EU to support Ghana's banana industry

Ghana's banana industry will now become more competitive in the global market with the injection of EUR7,240,000.

It is hoped that the support will also greatly improve the livelihood of banana growers with the construction of a three hundred housing units for farmers.

The European Union (EU) is providing the support and has signed a financing agreement with the government of Ghana to that effect.
