Ecobank Ghana has been voted Bank of the Year 2014 at the 14th Ghana Banking Awards ceremony.
It also won first place for financial performance and enterprise financing.
Officials of the bank believe their customer service approach and product innovation engineered the success.
Ecobank recently picked up an international award by finance magazine, Euromoney.
Speaking to the media after the event, the Executive Director in charge of Domestic Banking at Ecobank Ghana, George Mensah-Asante said there couldn’t have been a better way to celebrate their 25th anniversary which falls this year.
The event organized by Corporate Initiative Ghana with the partnership of Graphic Business, was under the theme: Identifying and Rewarding Excellence in the Banking Services Proposition.
