Energy minister engages American-Jewish Committee on renewable energy collaboration

The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, John Jinapor, has met with representatives from the American-Jewish Committee (AJC) to explore potential areas of collaboration in Ghana’s energy transition agenda.

The meeting, held at the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition, focused on strategic partnerships in clean cooking initiatives, renewable energy deployment, and rural electrification projects aimed at expanding energy access across the country.

Jinapor reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to advancing renewable and sustainable energy solutions, noting that Ghana remains focused on ensuring affordable, clean, and reliable energy for all citizens.

He emphasised that collaboration with international partners such as the AJC is essential to achieving Ghana’s green transition goals, which align with the country’s broader agenda for sustainable economic growth and environmental responsibility.

The minister further highlighted Ghana’s strong and enduring partnerships with global stakeholders, expressing optimism that such engagements would lead to practical cooperation and shared innovation in the energy sector.

He assured that the government will continue to strengthen ties with development partners to drive investments that promote energy security, green jobs, and climate resilience.
