Enterprise Life Insurance Company, as part of its efforts to dominate the insurance industry and continually provide groundbreaking products, has added to their catalogue, a new Funeral Finance Plan Unlimited.

The new policy plan provides an extensive funeral coverage for customers who would have otherwise been excluded from general funeral policies which have several forms of restrictions attached.

At the official unveiling of the policy, Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at the Enterprise Life Headquarters, Managing Director of the Group, Jackie Benyi emphasized that with over 30 touchpoints across the country, Enterprise Life is eager to touch more lives with the new product.

Adding that the aim of the Funeral Finance Plan Unlimited is to provide solutions to funeral challenges of Ghanaians.

“...We aim to solve problems and not just push products onto the market. Our customers are the reason we are in business. Without them and for what they do with us and for us, there would be no enterprise...our focus on the customer has not changed and will not change.” She said.

Explaining the details of the new product, Bernard Ewusie Mensah, the Assistant General Manager for Technical, noted that, in some previous policies launched by the company; Age, Lapse, Refund Premium Benefit, Surrender Benefit, Discount had several restrictions attached but the Funeral Finance Plan Unlimited addresses such restrictions.

He added that with the new plan, burial benefits range from GHC2,000 – GHC50,000. In previous years, the company did not insure persons beyond the age of 75 but the Funeral FP unlimited has no age limitation.

“Traditionally, your insurer will not even give you a cover if you are aged, if you’re above 80 years or 75 years but on this cover, we call something the no age restriction. What this means is that, it doesn’t matter what age you are, you can cover yourself and all your loved ones.” He said.

As part of the main features and benefits of the plan, Mr. Mensah emphasized that, “we have another interesting thing on the policy that we call the Life Swap and it is the first of its kind in the industry. If you don’t cover somebody on the policy and something happens to that person, you can swap your life for the person’s life and get the benefits.”

Other benefits customers who sign on to the policy stand to gain include, a 100 percent premium refund, a two-month premium holiday where in January and September customers pay no premiums, Cash back benefits among several others.

Again, there are optional covers on the FFP unlimited which includes Cash bonus, Accidental cover, double accidental cover, hospitalization and others.

Enterprise Life is a subsidiary of the Enterprise Group. In April last year, the company launched its Akwantupa Policy, to create the necessary platform and support for families living abroad to meet their funeral needs locally. The product was launched at the “Ghana’s Party in the Park” event in London UK.
