Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana honours business icons

The Leadership of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana has celebrated some selected business icons and 29 outstanding made in Ghana quality products and businesses establishments at the third Ghana Business Quality and Pride Awards in Accra.

The Overall Best Ghana Business Quality and Pride Awards went to Mr Manoj Lakhiani, the Chairman, Blue Group of Companies.

Other awardees are Dr Felix Anyah, the CEO of Holy Trinity Medical Centre (Health Care sector), Dr Mrs Theresa Oppong-Beeko, the President, MANET Group (Real Estate sector), Reverend Dr Kwaku Frimpong, CEO of Eagle Petroleum/ FRIMPS Oil, (Oil and Gas sector), Nana Osei Kwasi Africa, CEO of Vokacom, (ICT sector) and Mr Jonathan Lamprey, CEO of Comsys Ghana Limited.

The Award held on the theme:"Promoting International Quality Business through strategic partnership for economic growth" is to promote, market and advertise premium quality and most valuable global brands in Ghana.

It is also to promote international business pride of various countries brands in Ghana that have met the standards of premium quality, deserving of praise and commendation from consumers and the public.

Dr Anyah in an interview with the GNA said being honoured would make him reflect on his strength and weakness as a business person.

He said he had been able to mentor a couple of people in line of duty and it was so good to give back to society.

The awardees for the outstanding made in Ghana quality products and businesses establishment include GOIl, SSNIT, Barclays Ghana Limited, StarLife, Vodafone, adb, Holy Trinity Spa, Joshob Construction Company Limited, Toyota, Bond Savings and Loans, Unicom Chemist Limited, Vokacom, Graphic, Jack Daniels, Samsung and MANET.

Others are Bel-Aqua Mineral Water, B5 Plus, Akai, MultiTV, Premier Health Insurance, GoldFields, Hennessey and Nyonkopa Ghana.
