The passing of time has led to people devising new ways of doing things across the world.

But whiles your mind may have been stretched towards science and technology, you will be surprised to find out that businesses can also toll the same innovative line.

Amina Neina Yakubu is the brain behind the modernised ‘Nkosua_Ne_Meko’ business which has since taken over social media.

Having realized that many Ghanaians love their egg and pepper but are normally concerned about how hygienic the delicacy is, Amina and her team have decided to add some branding to the business.

The meal, traditionally packaged in a polythene bag has been given an upgrade to neat and convenient to carry disposable meal bowls. The meal has now been given a proper packaging, with it accompanied by a toffee to keep the mouths of customers refreshed after consumption.

The modernised egg business gained wide acclaim across the country after it was marketed on social media for all to see.

Their Twitter handle Nkosua_Ne_Meko tweeted: “Your Favorite Nkosua Ne Meko (boiled eggs with pepper) is now available in convenient and neat packs for your Events.”

The innovative nature of the business caught the attention of Ghanaian singers Efya and Adomaa who joined in the conversation, stating their love for the meal and giving some words of encouragement.

Amina explained, as captured by Ameyawdebrah.com, that the idea was born out of the need to satisfy the cravings of everyone who have been constrained from enjoying this highly nutritional and delicious delicacy due to unhealthy handling conditions of street hawkers.

She assured potential customers who raised concerns over a probable high cost that despite the branding and packaging, the egg will be affordable for all.

According to her, they intend to launch the “One Egg A Day” campaign” which will see their products vendored by well trained staff in traffic.
