GCB to explain tomorrow

The Board of Directors of the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) will issue a full statement tomorrow, explaining its decision on the termination of the appointment of the Managing Director, Ms Matilda Obeng-Ansong.

Mr John Kweku Duncan, Head of GCB?s Public Affairs Department, in an interview with the paper in Accra, said the Board arrived at the decision at an emergency meeting held in Accra.

He, therefore, appealed to the press ?to exercise patience until the statement is released?.
