GHACEM provides staff with ATM facility

Tema, Oct. 11, GNA - The Management of GHACEM Limited has installed an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) facility at its factory at Tema to facilitate payments to its staff to enhance productivity. The project being undertaken in collaboration with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) is to avoid queuing and other inconveniences workers go through to access their money.

Madam Linda Eikelenboom, Financial Director of GHACEM speaking at the launching of the ATM at Tema on Monday, said the ATM services primarily for the staff and distributors would be extended to other organisations.

Madam Eikelenboom said it was an opportunity to improve the efficiency of the company's financial services and set higher standards for its banking service delivery.

The Financial Director explained that GHACEM entered into partnership with SCB because "the tender team was guided by STANCHART'S competitive pricing, flexibility and service delivery in response to the Company's needs and electronic banking applications",

Mr Morten Gade, Managing Director of GHACEM said plans were underway to issue the Visa electronic card to employees to enable them access money through it.

Mr Ebenezer Essoka, Managing Director of the SCB said GHACEM's quality products as well as commitment to duty convinced the bank to partner it in business.

The Management of GHACEM also inaugurated bill boards for its 25 outstanding distributors.
