GHANA - UK TRADE FAIR ENDS

The first Ghana/Britain Trade Fair ended in Accra on Friday with exhibitors expressing general satisfaction with its organisation and patronage.

The Fair, dubbed Partners in progress, attracted about 100 British and Ghanaian companies with exhibiton on technological and service industries like health, education, water, commerce and renewable natural resources.

A number of the exhibitors interviewed said they were glad to have kparticipated in the fiar, which they described as "very successful". They commended the Ghana Trade Fair Authority surroundings neat and ensuring security during tgfhe fair.

Mr. Andrews Gllen, of Biwater, manufacturers of water pumps and accessories, said he was very happy abouat the patronage at their stand. "We have been able to reach a lot of people here and got much more enquires about our products than we have had sitting in our offices", he said.

On how often the fair should be organised, many of the exhibitors said it should at least be every two years by which time, new technologies would have been introduced into the market.
