Dodowa (Greater Accra), 17 Oct., The Ministry of Education is refurbishing rooms at the Ghanatta Secondary School, Dodowa, as Science Resource Centre pending the completion of its permanent buildings. Already, the ministry has spent 30 million cedis whilst the district assembly has also provided nine million cedis towards the science centre. Mr. Fort Tsaku, headmaster of the Ghanatta Secondary School, made this known to newsmen during an inspection of work on the science resource centre at Dodowa today. He urged contractors working on science resource centre to expedite action since the study of science by students was dear to the heart of government and Ghanaians. The headmaster said the refurbishing of some premises at the school was aimed at beating the deadline set for the establishment of science resource centres for second cycle schools throughout the country.
