GIPC announces date for "Invest in Ghana Seminar 2010"

Accra, Sept. 9, GNA - The Ghana Investment Promotion

Centre (GIPC) in collaboration with the Swiss Agency for Trade

and Investment, has announced that this year's 93Invest in Ghana

Seminar" would take place from 14th to 15th of this month

(September).

A statement by the GIPC copied to the Ghana News Agency

in Accra on Thursday, said the event, which aimed at bringing

international and domestic corporate leaders together to discuss

opportunities for investment in Ghana, would be held at the La

Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.

It is under the theme: 93Enhancing Partnerships between

Domestic and Foreign Investors for Sustained Economic

Development".

The statement said the seminar would focus on Financial

Services, Agriculture, Industry, Information Communications

Technology, Tourism, and Minerals Processing.

It said the day-two of the Seminar would be for one-on-one

meetings between profiled project sponsors and potential

investors.

The statement also announced that 93The 2009 Edition of the

Ghana Club 100 Awards", which was an annual event to celebrate

the top one hundred (100) companies in various sectors, would

also be held at the Banquet Hall, State House on the 14th of

September, 2010.
