GLICO picks Gold Award

GLICO Life Insurance Company (GLICO LIFE) and GLICO General Insurance Company (GLICO GENERAL), subsidiaries of GLICO Group, have been presented with the prestigious Gold Award at the Ashanti Financial Services Excellence awards ceremony.

The awards ceremony, organized by Top Brass and under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, was to honour organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the development of Ghana at the national and regional levels.

This year’s event focused on the 80th Anniversary of the restoration of the Ashanti Confederacy.

Receiving the awards on behalf of GLICO LIFE, Francis Kungu, GLICO LIFE Business Development Coordinator for Kumasi Area, said GLICO LIFE was awarded for promoting the socio-economic growth and development of Ghana, specifically the Ashanti Region.

He dedicated the award to the company’s policyholders and hard working staff for their firm trust and devotion to GLICO over the years.

Sarah Agyemang, GLICO GENERAL Business Development Manager, Kumasi Area, who also received the award on behalf of his outfit, said “this award is a clear indication of the impact of our innovative and unique general insurance products and customer services that meet the needs of the customers.”

Both managers expressed gratitude to organizers of the ceremony for recognizing the efforts of the GLICO GROUP.
