President and Chairman of Groupe Nduom, (GN), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, has disclosed that GN companies will soon be listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) market to boost the economy of the country.

The celebrated Ghanaian entrepreneur stated that, 30% of GN companies will soon float shares which will enable them to join the stock exchange market.

That, he said, will pave way for his outfits to inject professionalism into the day-to-day administration of the companies.

“I want to state clearly that, the GN Printing and Digicut Production and Advertising within a week will be listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange so that anyone can buy shares of these companies.

“We have now reached the stage where we are inviting people, especially Ghanaians to come and share in what we have been building. So eventually 30% of all our companies will be on the Ghana Stock Exchange market, so that interested persons could buy shares and become GN equity partners who would receive dividends annually,” Dr. Nduom stressed.

The business mogul hinted that, he was in constant talks with GSE in order to equip himself with the necessary information to ensure the smooth running of his vision.

According to Dr. Nduom, since his vision requires the necessary structures capable of attracting potential and prospective investors, he was seriously exerting policies and programmes that will make his companies attractive in the medium to long term period.

He however, conceded that it was a Herculean task in joining the stock market and sustaining gains, and therefore declared his willingness to continue to showcase the quality and unique products and services of the companies under the GN.

Dr. Nduom disclosed these to journalists when he officially opened an ultra-modern office of the GN Electronics, an entity under the GN conglomerate at the East Legon in Accra on Friday, December 15, 2017.

The GN Electronics office which is located at the Mensah Wood Street in East Legon will also serve as a showroom to display the unique and quality products of the Expandable Polystyrene Products Limited, Fresh Pak Products Limited, GN Power, GN Bank, GN Logistics Company Limited, GN Printing, GN Media, Nduom School of Business and Technology and Digicut Production and Advertising among others.

The purpose, according to Dr. Nduom, was to make the unique and quality products of the companies under the GN known to Ghanaians, and also to encourage Ghanaians to patronise made in Ghana goods.

He pointed that out that, “the showroom is available to every Ghanaian to have a feel of the GN products, especially, the GN Television which is smart television models and comes in various sizes, such as the 40, 55 and 65 inches.”

Dr. Nduom was surprised that many Ghanaians did not know what “we have been doing so far, so they do not appreciate made in Ghana goods.”

“We are starting from here to demonstrate to people not just that we have good quality products assembled and produced right here in Ghana but that within our family of companies, we are delivering quality and high standard products and services, and therefore we are living our beyond excellence slogan”, he added.

Speaking further, Dr. Nduom urged Ghanaian businesses and individuals to patronise products of his companies “so that the financial resources would remain in the local economy for rapid development”.

He noted that powerful nations in the world with buoyant economies hinged their successes on indigenous companies.

He asked Ghanaians to support local companies to remain formidable and competitive on the financial market so that they could support the government and Ghanaian entrepreneurs.
