GOIL opens filling station

The Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) in fulfilment of the mandate to provide strategic services to the motoring public towards nation building has open yet another Filling Station at Achimota to deliver unique service to motorist exiting the national capital through the main Accra to Kumasi route.

The modern service station is equipped with facilities to ensure the safety, satisfaction, security and friendly customer interaction also have convenient entry and exit points, Mr Michael Lagble, GOIL Southern Zone Manager stated during the opening of the GOIL Achimota Filling Station.

He gave the assurance that GOIL would continue to offer the best customer service and quality fuel, explaining that consumers would continue to have value for money for the products purchased and called on the motoring public to patronage the station.

Mr Lagble said GOIL will continue to expand and open service stations at strategic inter and intra city routes for the benefits of Ghanaians.

Mr Abdul Nasser Seidu, GOIL Achimota Service Station Dealer told the CDA Consult in an interview that, “I have operated filling stations for the past ten years with other Oil Marketing Companies but have decided to switch over to GOIL due to the brand identity, quality of service, supplies margin and the guided liberty for operation.

“GOIL is not only the foremost indigenous OMC but an industry giant holding the Ghanaian identity and protecting our national heritage”.

Mr. Marcus Deo Dake, GOIL Head of Fuels Marketing told the CDA Consult in an interview on the side lines of the opening the new GOIL Achimota Filling Station that GOIL will continue to play a strategic and leading role in the downstream petroleum sector in the country.

“We will continue to uphold our vision to market quality petroleum and other energy products and services in all our branches in an ethical, healthy, safe, environmentally friendly and socially responsible manner; Produce and manufacture goods or provide services which enhance or support the marketing, distribution and sale of the Company’s products and services,” he said.

He said GOIL will continue to ensure that professionally trained, high quality, motivated workforce man our stations, working as a team in an environment, which recognizes and rewards performance, innovation and creativity, and provides for personal growth and development.
