GSE begins continues slow upward march

Accra, July 26, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange continued its slow upward march with the All-Share Index, the benchmark gauge, gaining 0.25 points to close the day at 5,362.18 points from 5,361.93 points. Total shares that changed hands rose to 113,700 from 16,800 on Wednesday while change for the year was 7.11 per cent.

There were two price changes, both positive. Enterprise Insurance Company was 0.0005 GH cedis better at 1.0510 GH cedis while Ghana Commercial Bank gained 0.0009 GH cedis at 0.6860 GH cedis.

Market capitalization was GH 11,516.11 million cedis from GH 11,5154.95 million GH cedis.
