Accra, March 21, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange plunged again in trading on Monday following another hefty loss by Unilever. The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, the main stock index, was down by 22.89 points at 6,455.10 points from 6,477.99 points on Friday while change for the year decelerated further at - 5.05 per cent.
There was only one price change, a 1,000-cedi loss by Unilever, the second in two successive trading sessions, at 18,000 cedis. Shares traded were down by more than half at 336,000 from Friday's close of 701,800 on Friday.
Market capitalization was down at 96,678.29 from 96,740.79 billion cedis on Friday.
