GSE edges up in quiet trading as bourse slows down

Accra, Aug. 25 GNA - The GSE-All Share Index, the key market gauge, edged up slightly in another quiet day on Wednesday with only 200,200 shares changing hands as the bourse continues to slow down. The index went up by 1.57 points to close at 7,469.04 points from 7,467.47 points on Monday.

The change to date now stands at 110.19 per cent from 110.15 per cent.

Market capitalisation ended slightly higher at 98,158.08 billion cedis from 98,154.05 billion cedis from 3,380.89 million issued shares. On the broader market, Fan Milk Limited gained 197 cedis at 9,700 cedis and Camelot rose by 20 cedis at 800 cedis.
