GSE ends dull week flat

Accra, Dec. 8, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) on Friday ended a dull week during which only 513,000 shares changed hands and the main stock index moved up by only 0.3 points.

During the week, market capitalisation went up by only 0.16 billion cedis and change for the date did not change.

The main indices during Friday's remained flat with the main stock index marking time at 4,992.98 points, while change to date also remained flat at 4.70 per cent.

There was no change in market capitalisation at 112,208.96 billion cedis while there was no price change in listed equities. Traded volumes were a mere 15,000 from Thursday's 59,100.
