GSE in moderate gain

Accra, Aug. 29, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the main market indicator, made a moderate gain in trading on Monday in another quiet trading.

The index ended trading up by 0.06 points at 4,838.15 points from 4,838.09 points.

The session also marked the formal trading in shares of Golden Web. Change for the year-to-date remained unchanged at -28.84 per cent. There was only one price change, a one-cedi gain by SG-SSB at 7,865 cedis.

Only 5,400 shares changed hands from 52,200 on Friday. Market capitalisation was up at 92,002.43 billion cedis from 91,991.81 billion cedis on Friday from 3,381.22 million shares.
