Accra, July 20, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange made a marginal gain on Monday as the bourse continued to witness mixed fortunes on account of poor share price performance.
The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure, was up marginally by 3.52 points at 7,073.60 points.
Change for the year to date stands at 99.06 points.
Total shares traded went up to 9,283,300 shares, thanks to a block trade in Accra Brewery Limited shares. The equity alone sold 8,912,100 shares.
On the broader market, there were four price changes - three positive and a negative.
Accra Brewery Limited gained five cedis at 1,305 cedis, Clydstone went up by 51 cedis at 1,051 cedis and Patterson Zochonis was 365 cedis richer to close at 4,015 cedis.
The only loser was Aluworks, which went down by 100 cedis to close at 12,100 cedis.
Market capitalisation was 97,107.47 billion cedis from 3,380.2 million shares.
