Accra, Feb. 14, GNA - The main benchmark of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) made a slight gain in quiet trading on Monday, as the bourse continues to struggle to find its feet. The GSE All-Share Index inched up by 0.18 points at 6,855.11 points from Friday's close of 6,854.93 points. Change for the year stood at 0.83 per cent.
Shares traded closed higher at 300,300 from Friday's 180,300 shares.
There were two price changes, both positive.
Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) gained five cedis at 6,740 cedis and Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) continued its rise with two cedis at 13,002 cedis.
Market capitalisation closed higher at 97,770.26 billion cedis from 3,663.42 million issued shares.
