Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited (GTBank) has added to its repertoire of cutting-edge innovative solutions a service that provides customers access to their pre-stamped and signed bank statements via its Internet Banking platform, in the comfort of their homes or offices.

Customers who need statements for visa applications and other related uses can now download and print their pre-stamped and signed copies any time, without stepping into the banking hall.

Commenting on introduction of the service, Divisional Head of Digital Banking, Leopold Armah said: “As the industry leader in digital and electronic banking, we are consistently exploring ways to simplify and enrich the lives of our customers.

Typically, to access bank statements customers have to leave their homes or offices and queue-up in their banks just to have their bank statements printed and stamped at a fee. We have redefined this process and allow our customers to print their pre-authenticated statements anytime, anywhere for all purposes at no cost”.

He continued: “The service is available to all customers with active Internet Banking credentials. Customers who are yet to activate their Internet banking should simply send a request to gh.customerexperience@gtbank.com and we will set them up to enjoy this and other amazing services from our digital and electronic channels. GTBank’s digital banking suite – comprising Internet banking, *737# and Myghpay – provides customers and non-customers with the fastest, most secured and convenient way to make transfers, pay bills, book air tickets among others”.

GTBank customers can access this service by simply logging onto the Internet Banking platform on their phones or computer, selecting Account Statement under Account Information, choosing the preferred account and clicking Generate to download and print their statements instantly.

Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited has carved an indisputable niche in its thirteen years of operation in Ghana as the most technologically advanced bank, with numerous local and international awards to show for it.

Recently, the bank was adjudged ‘Best Digital Bank of the Year’ by the International Centre for Strategic Alliances (ICSA)
