Samsung Electronics, a global leader in technology has launched the much talked about Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear at a media event in Accra.
Mr Tetteh Akornor, Product Manager of Samsung Ghana explaining the functions and the features of the Galaxy Note 3 said there has been additional service added to the Galaxy Note 3 to enable consumers design their lives.
He added that the new device has a smart health application endorsed by the United Nations Global Fund for AIDS, TB and malaria to educate consumers on those diseases and as well identify symptoms and precautionary measures and medication.
“The Galaxy Note 3 is designed to entertain life as it has many entertainments application and it is also designed to connect life through its communication and sharing offers such as ChatOn WeChat, WhatsApp and BBM”, he noted.
Mr Akornor however mentioned that the Galaxy Gear is also a smart watch accessory that combines smart device connectivity, tailored technological features, and stylish design as a single premium accessory.
“It has a 1.63 inch Super AMOLED display which has a resolution of 320 X320 pixels and runs on a 800MHz processor along with a 1.9 MP mega pixel camera. The Galaxy Gear notifies users of incoming messages, such as texts, emails and alerts, delivers a preview of those messages and creates the opportunity for users to accept or discreetly ignore those messages,” he affirmed.
On his side, the Business Leader for Handheld Products at Samsung Ghana Mr. Jaspreet Singh indicated that the Galaxy Note 3 represents the next evolution of the Galaxy Note experience designed to empower consumers to actually experience, enjoy and fulfil their busy lives.
Mr. Singh noted that the Galaxy Note 3 was purposely designed to meet the needs of consumers for a smarter larger screen, makes everyday life easier with the S pen and is much slimmer, lighter, more powerful, and comes with a beautiful design.
“It also adds delight to daily tasks and infuses innovative features that help consumers tell the story of their lives. The device has a consumer oriented service like the ADH premium which gives cherished customers the opportunity to have their damaged Galaxy Note 3 replaced for free, all these exciting new consumer oriented services represent another innovation first from Samsung to the Ghanaian market,” he said.
