Ghana Homes Loans Holds Biggest Housing Fair

Ghana Home Loans (GHL), the mortgage specialists recently gave a further boost to its enviable reputation in property acquisition financing when it assembled the cream of the real estate industry during this year’s edition of its annual housing fairs.

The two day event took place on the 4th and 5th of November 2011 and was held at the forecourt of the GHL premises in Accra. The fair brought together over thirty exhibitors comprising mainly property developers as well as allied service providers such as suppliers of building materials, paints and other finishes, insurance service providers and home appliance distributors all for the benefit of potential home buyers.

By far the leading property funders in Ghana, GHL gained an official endorsement recently when it was adjudged the Best Property Funding Partner at the 4th Annual GREDA Exhibition and Ghana Property Awards and is thus poised to maintain this enviable feat by continually offering an interactive platform for property developers, potential clients and financiers so as to facilitate a hassle free property acquisition for clients.

Among the exhibitors were Mayfair Estates, Lakeside Estates, Buena Vista Homes, Magna Terris, Devtraco, Emefs Construction and Housing, Edlorm Estates Wachild Homes, T & T Properties. Others included Elnental Properties, Elite Kingdom Investments, PS Global Ltd, Sandpark Estates, Akuaba, Salem Estates, Salem Estates, Meridian Apartments and others

The fair enjoyed a high patronage from top professionals, expatriates and business people on all two days with exhibitors having barely any respite. At any time during the event, patrons could be seen entering the grounds and going round in couples as other were seen leaving obviously after having obtained solutions to their enquiries. Most of them expressed satisfaction with the solutions on offer by developers except for the fact that many of the properties available were located at the peripheries of Accra such as Prampram, Dahwenya, Kasoa, Oyibi etc.

Fair promoters Ghana Home Loans led by Chief Operating Officer, Kojo Addo-Kufuor were easily on hand to be sure everything went well for the exhibitors in addition to their own stand where they offered comprehensive advice on the intricacies of mortgages to potential clients. Most exhibitors spoken to expressed satisfaction with the attendance and hope to gain business from the numerous leads they had generated. There was uninterrupted live band music in the background which spiced up activities.
