Ghana Life Pays ?4 Million to Beneficiaries

Ghana Life Insurance has paid a total of ?4 million as a death claim payment to beneficiaries of the late Constable Maurice Afranie of Police Striking Force.

The late Constable Maurice Afranie, 26, a Ghana Life Insurance policy holder died through a motor accident in the Volta Region on February 2, 2002, while on official duty with the President.

The amount paid to Mrs. Grace Konadu Afranie, mother of the late Maurice Afranie through DSP Kesseh, Commanding Officer of Police Striking Force include ?2.4 million to Jude Afranie, 14 and Samuel Afranie, 12, both beneficiaries of the late Maurice Afranie who had until his death contributed ?126,720 as his total premium. Present at the ceremony at the offices of the Striking Force was Mr. Samuel Offei-Addo a Ghana Life Counselor Mrs. Grace Afranie on behalf of the family expressed appreciation for the prompt payment of the insurance claim.
